The script illuminates underlying tensions surrounding interpretive, creative, qualitative scholarship. The writer/performer/researcher asserts that while autoethnographic performance scholarship has gained legitimacy through the success of multiple high-profile scholars and publishing outlets, questions and vulnerabilities linked to the postpositivist biases endure and require our continued attention.
